Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain a commercial motor vehicle (OTR).
  • Secure and transport open-deck loads across various regions.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes and delivery windows.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A
  • No experience required (Open Deck training provided)
  • No SAP
  • No DUI / DWI
  • Able to secure flatbed loads safely
  • Professional communication and safety mindset

Compensation

Compensation: 25%–30% of Gross Revenue + Performance Bonuses
$9,000 gross = +1.5%
$10,000 gross = +3%

3,500+ Miles Per Week

Schedule

OTR Routes, Clear Home Time & 24/7 Driver Support
Routes & Home Time: This is an OTR position running all 48 states on spot market freight with no dedicated lanes. Drivers typically stay out 4–5 weeks followed by 4–5 days at home, with home resets available in most states (except Florida). MDX Line provides 24/7 dispatch and after-hours support, uses ENCY Logs ELD, and offers a fast orientation process that takes approximately 2 hours, with drivers leaving the same day in their truck from Joliet, IL.

Company Parking

Company parking is available at secure yards located in Illinois and New Jersey.
