CDL A Local Truck Driver - Part Time

About the role

Join our dedicated team based in the Minneapolis area. We run consistent bulk freight for Owens Corning with daily home time and a predictable part‑time schedule. Local routes operate between Burnsville, Savage, Minneapolis, and Menomonie, Wisconsin. There is opportunity to cover extra shifts during emergency needs, and work involves live loading and unloading plus potential work with preloads.

Responsibilities

• Perform live loading and unloading of dedicated bulk freight
• Operate dedicated bulk equipment safely
• Handle potential preload tasks as needed
• Cover extra shifts during emergency situations
• Maintain reliable commuting to the Burnsville, MN terminal

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of verifiable CDL‑A truck driving experience
• Valid CDL‑A license (no automatic restriction)
• Ability to operate dedicated bulk equipment
• Reliable commuting to Burnsville, MN
• Must pass a standard DOT physical and drug screen

Qualifications

• CDL‑A license required
• 6 months of driving experience (required)
• Flatbed experience preferred

Pay

25 percent commission with an average of $900 per week for 24–32 hours worked. Pay range reported as $0.00–$900.00 per week.

Schedule

Work scheduled Saturday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with 24–32 hours per week within that window.
