Job Details
- Home daily with no overnight routes
- Overtime paid after 40 hours worked
- Automatic transmission trucks
- Warehouse-to-warehouse deliveries
- Make 3-5 stops per day
- Load and unload using lift gate, pallet jack, and forklift
- Consistent routes and predictable scheduling
- Stable, long-term local truck driving assignment
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local truck driving routes
- Deliver and transport freight between warehouse locations
- Load and unload freight using provided equipment
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain all required DOT documentation
- Ensure freight is secured and delivered safely
- Adhere to all company safety policies and DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
CDL Class A Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current Medical Card
- Minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years
- Acceptable MVR and accident history
- Strong and consistent work history
- Commitment to safe driving practices
- Ability to load and unload freight as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift gates
- Previous warehouse distribution or local truck driving experience
- Strong attention to safety, customer service, and professionalism
