CDL-A Local Driver / Forklift Operator - Full-time

About the role

This role involves the pickup, delivery, loading, and unloading of cargo within proximity of the distribution center, utilizing techniques similar to dock work.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts
• Inspect trailers
• Complete paperwork
• Ensure efficient use of resources while adhering to weight laws

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of tractor/trailer experience (training available for less)
• Valid Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements
• At least 21 years old
• Safe driving record
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening and medical requirements

Skills

• Operate equipment such as forklifts and tractors
• Perform cargo check-in, trailer inspection, and setup
• Complete and log necessary paperwork accurately
• Manage physical demands efficiently and independently
