CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver-Make up to $110,000 Yearly + Incentives

About the Role

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Drivers build relationships with each customer using a positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer for local deliveries.
• Manually unload and deliver products to customer locations.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through professional and friendly interactions.
• Adhere to assigned route schedules.

Requirements

• 21+ years of age.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a driving record that meets company insurability standards.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to inquiries, and complete reports.
• Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds, and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of customer delivery experience.
• 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience.
• 6 months of food and beverage experience.
• 2 years of consistent work history.
