CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver-Make up to $100,000 Yearly + Incentives

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Drivers build relationships with each customer using a positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer to deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route.
• Manually unload and deliver various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers using a positive, friendly attitude.
• Understand customer operations to meet their needs and expectations.

Requirements

• 21+ years of age.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a driving record that meets company insurability standards.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
• Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer delivery experience preferred.
• 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience preferred.
• 6 months of food and beverage experience preferred.
• 2 years of consistent work history preferred.
