About the role

Sysco seeks dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to operate tractor-trailers and deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on assigned schedules. Drivers build relationships with customers through positive attitudes and familiarity with their operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently
• Manually unload/deliver products to customer locations
• Build relationships with customers
• Be familiar with customer operations
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Ability to read, speak English, and understand traffic signs and signals
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends
• Preferred: 1 year customer delivery experience, 6 months hand cart/hand truck experience, 6 months Food and Beverage experience, 2 years consistent work history
