Schedule
- Day Dispatch (Monday - Friday): 3:00 AM–6:00 AM
- Night Dispatch (Sunday - Friday): 2:00 PM-6:00 PM
- 4-Day Work Week Available

$1,440+ per week (avg. $70K–$75K annually)

About the role
- Deliver food products to local customers on scheduled routes
- Home daily – no long-haul
- Consistent routes & hours
Responsibilities
- Unload product and place in designated areas
- Complete deliveries safely and on time
- Interact with customers professionally
- Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products
- Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip), including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Report all safety issues and/or repairs required
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count checks of items and verify customer invoices of loaded products
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed
- Deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- Unload products from trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas
- Perform damage control checks, scan items, and contact supervisor about removing orders according to company policy
- Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
- Collect money (cash or checks) where required
- Load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns, complete necessary paperwork
- Unload all equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers as required
- Complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
- Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clean
- Secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift
- Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Safe driving record
- Ability to handle touch freight (unloading required)
- Strong customer service mindset
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 6+ months of commercial driving experience
- 6+ months of delivery experience
- Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or have a valid current DOT Health Card or ability to secure a new one
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight (10-90 pounds) throughout shift
