Pay

$1,440 – $1,630 per week (average $75K–$85K annually) plus:

  • $10,000 sign-on bonus
  • $500/month performance bonus (up to $6,000/year)

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, dispatch at 6:00 AM
  • 4-day work week available
  • Overtime pay

About the role

CDL-A Local Delivery Driver with home-daily routes delivering food and food-related products to local customers. Drivers operate tractor-trailers or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring safe, timely deliveries and professional customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver food products to local customers on scheduled routes
  • Unload product and place in designated customer storage areas
  • Complete pre- and post-trip safety inspections according to DOT regulations and company standards
  • Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight; report safety hazards or needed repairs
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies
  • Perform count checks and verify customer invoices of loaded products
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly
  • Scan items, handle damage control, and contact supervisor about order removal per company policy
  • Obtain customer signatures and collect payments (cash or checks) where required
  • Load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
  • Unload damaged goods and returns, completing necessary paperwork
  • Maintain daily records of hours of service and log entries per federal, state, and company requirements
  • Perform general housekeeping in tractor, loading dock area, and trailers
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Safe driving record
  • 6+ months driving tractor-trailer experience
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements
  • Valid/current DOT health card or ability to secure one
  • Ability to hand-lift and use equipment (two-wheeler, lift gate) to move product cases/freight ranging from 10–90 pounds throughout shift
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Ability to handle touch freight (unloading required)
