CDL A Intermodal Driver Up to - $2508 a week!

About the role

Local intermodal container driver role based in Forest View, Illinois. This is a flex assignment operating automatic transmission vehicles with no-touch freight. Drivers will pick up and deliver containers at rail yards, ensuring safe, timely, and incident-free transport while maintaining strong communication with customers and dispatch.

Schedule

• Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday available
• Hours: 5pm – 4am
• Working 11–12 hours per day

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A vehicle
• Drop and Hook, lock down and safely transport rail containers
• 10–12 Hours per day
• Maintain open communication with dispatch
• Perform required handling tasks
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

Requirements

• CDL A (valid, current)
• Must have some experience with intermodal containers
• Minimum 1 yr of driving experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT qualification standards
