About the Role
TransAm Trucking offers independent contractor opportunities for CDL-A drivers to operate as their own business with competitive compensation and support.
- 70% of linehaul revenue (less authorized deductions and pass-through charges)
- $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in four installments of $500 after completing 30, 60, 90, and 120 days of your contract
- Average gross revenue per week: $4,000 - $6,000
- 100% of fuel surcharges paid to TransAm for shipments hauled
- Fuel discounts through an extensive fuel network
- No forced dispatch—you decide what’s best for your business
- Paid base plates and permits to reduce overhead
Equipment
Flexible equipment solutions—use your own qualified truck or lease through TransAm’s partner, ONE Leasing, which offers a range of options, including a new 3-month lease for lower-commitment startup or scaling.
Benefits
Optional access to third-party benefits (dental, vision, accident, disability, and more) for independent contractors. These benefits are not provided by TransAm Trucking, and participation is optional.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A for any drivers operating your equipment
- Minimum 3 months of verified tractor-trailer driving experience for all drivers
- All drivers must be at least 21 years old
- Own or lease one or more trucks (leasing options available through ONE Leasing or other providers)
