CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Driver

About the role

Badlands Tank Lines is the largest crude hauler in the U.S. and is seeking Hazmat Tanker Drivers to haul crude oil in the Lima, OH area. Drivers begin and end their day in Lima, OH, running routes to eastern Ohio. Drivers who live local to the Lima, OH area will be home every day.

Responsibilities

• Work outdoors sampling and transferring oil for an hour or more at origins and destinations in all weather conditions
• Operate in adverse weather conditions with advanced winter driving skills
• Perform slip seat driving as required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent Class A driving experience
• Prior crude oil experience
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements and current medical card required
• Ability to work days shift OR evening/overnight shift
• Minimum 12 months previous bulk liquid tanker experience required
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card required
• No DUI, major speeding, or careless/reckless driving within 5 years
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs and work in outdoor elements
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and be a team player
• Chain-up experience preferred
• Mountain driving experience preferred
• Experience driving in adverse winter weather conditions required

Pay

• $370–$500 average day pay
• Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus based on experience
