This position offers $28 per hour, first-shift scheduling, and light-touch freight handling. Pay & Schedule Details Pay: $28 per hour Schedule: First shift. Monday-Friday starting between 5:30- 6 a.m. Hours per day vary from 6-11 hours a day Job Details Route type: Local. Multiple stops in Des Moines, IA, and North West IA Freight: Flatbed freight, hauling steel beams and pipes Equipment: Flatbed truck Handling: Light touch Key Responsibilities Operate a CDL A flatbed truck safely and professionally. Complete local transportation assignments during first-shift hours. Handle flatbed freight using light-touch procedures. Inspect and operate equipment in accordance with applicable safety standards. Maintain accurate delivery and transportation records. Minimum Requirements 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years. Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
