CDL A Driver (Local)

About the role

We are hiring a CDL A Driver in Phoenix, AZ for our Acetylene production & filling facility. This is an open position.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers.
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders & supplies.
• Nurture courteous & professional relationships with customers.
• Support deliveries in a timely manner.
• Safely secure and unsecure cylinders.
• Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements. Hazmat is required.
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
• One (1) year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.

Qualifications

• Appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Pay

$27/Hr with a 40-45 hour work week, with minimal overtime. Monday-Friday schedule with the occasional weekend.
