About the Position

Our client is seeking Class A CDL drivers for a local, home‑daily position in Eagan, Minnesota. This temporary‑to‑permanent opportunity involves mail routes, time‑sensitive freight, and light‑touch handling. The assignment is scheduled to run from August 31 through September 12, 2026, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Pay & Schedule Details

  • Approximately 40 hours per week
  • Local, home‑daily schedule
  • Start times vary between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
  • Flexible availability required for changing schedules, routes, and operational needs during the startup period

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle
  • Complete assigned routes safely, accurately, and on time
  • Load, unload, and handle mail as required
  • Support startup execution, go‑live activities, and operational stabilization
  • Perform required pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records
  • Report delays, equipment issues, and operational concerns
  • Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and workplace safety procedures
  • Assist with direct‑ingestion processes and yard operations
  • Follow all safety, security, and yard‑compliance procedures

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
  • Ability to perform light‑touch freight duties
  • Flexibility with workdays, start times, routes, and assignments
