CDL A Driver - $28.27/hr + $6.16 H&W

Local, temp-to-hire position based in Indianapolis, IN. Automatic transmission; 48'–53' trailers with liftgate.

Schedule

• Start times vary
• 5–6 days per week
• 8–10 hours per day
• 49.8 average weekly hours

Pay

• $28.27 per hour
• Additional $6.16 Health & Welfare up to 40 hours

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes (north of Indianapolis and to Cincinnati)
• Transport mail in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform light-touch handling: roll mail carts
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role

Requirements

• CDL A license
• 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• No endorsements required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
