CDL A Delivery Driver

About the role

If you have a great attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to work hard, we need you right now! We are looking for current Class A drivers for delivery and freight positions.

Responsibilities

• Delivering pre-loaded pallet orders and assembling orders from truckload
• Handling routes with an approximate average of 20 stops and working at a good pace
• Moving/lifting up to 150 lbs (half kegs) using a hand truck or pallet jack
• Operating a 26' straight box truck or trailer (if available)
• Completing provided training before running any routes solo

Requirements

• At least 1 year of local driving experience (preferred but not required)
• Willingness to train new Class A graduates
• Valid and clean Class A CDL (all parts except hazardous materials)
• Current D.O.T. medical card
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and days
• Ability to interpret numerical values on merchandise
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal highway rules and DOT regulations
• Knowledge of the New York/New Jersey delivery territories

Pay

• Starting pay: $26 per hour plus a $3,000 signing bonus
• Opportunity to earn at least $70,000 in the first year
• Starting pay varies based on experience and license class

Schedule

Full-time position with 40+ hours per week on a 4‑day work schedule (Monday‑Friday). Home daily unless interested in overnight (2‑day delivery) routes to Plattsburgh, Lake Placid, or Lake George. Delivery routes cover Lower Westchester/Rockland north to the Canadian border.
