About the role

Haul general merchandise in double pup trailers. 100% no-touch and 100% drop-and-hook freight. Terminal to terminal, running mostly East of the Mississippi River. Take your dog or cat on the road with our Team Pet Policy.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Earn at least $1,940–$2,375 weekly.
• Earn at least $1,000 in weekly guarantee pay during your first 90 days at Schneider.
• Weekly performance pay.
• $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.

Requirements

• Must be a formed team.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Doubles/Triples endorsement required at time of hire.
• HazMat endorsement required at time of hire.
• Live within 75 miles of Des Moines, IA.

Full-time, home every other week.
