About the role
This position is available at Würth Baer Supply Company in West Haven, CT. We are seeking a CDL-B Driver to handle customer deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Load truck with sit-down propane forklift and by hand with materials such as drawer slides, hinges, door and cabinetry handles, hand/power tools, sandpaper goods, paint/stain, plywood, cabinetry, synthetic countertop materials, and laminate goods.
- Secure load to truck by tying down to ensure safe travel between stops.
- Pass goods to customers by hand weighing up to 80 lbs as needed.
- Deliver to between 5 and 10 stops daily in the State of CT and Southern NY, and parts of MADelivery area may include Northern, Southern, and Eastern Pennsylvania.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate with management regarding customer questions and concerns.
- Utilize Samsara Electronic Logging Device (ELD) on company cell phone for pre-trip inspections and maintain DOT-compliant on-duty status.
Requirements
- Must be comfortable wearing a company uniform and protective footwear (composite or steel toe).
- Safe driving record (MVR).
- Must have CDL-B or CDL-A.
- MUST have a valid DOT Med Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).

Pay and Schedule
- CDL-B drivers: $25/HR
- CDL-A drivers: $27/HR
- $2000 Performance Bonus: $1000 after 90 days (3 months) and $1000 after 180 days (6 months)
- Paid for drivers in good standing with the company.
- Consistent on-time arrival to work, good attendance, good attitude, work safety, and work quality are all factored into the evaluation of being in good standing.

Pay
- CDL-B drivers: $25/HR
- CDL-A drivers: $27/HR
