Job Duties
- Check trailers for docks in shipping area and print reports for picking.
- Oversight of drivers placing trailers in doors for loading/unloading and off-site moves.
- Gather all truckload and LTL paperwork, ensuring readiness for shipment.
- Handle and resolve any shipment issues, including correcting shorts.
- Answer phone calls from other plants, customer service, and receiving departments.
- Manage warehouse errors from customer service, confirming or denying them.
- Download truckload and LTL shipments for the following day.
- Load and unload trucks with stock from other plants, staging material in PDs for put-away.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including reach truck, tow motor, order picker, standing extender, pallet jack, and forklift.
- Keep accurate records and maintain loading schedules.
- Close out LTL and TLS shipments in the absence of Adam Tuttle (Transportation Clerk).
- Ensure correct insurance qualifications for shipment pick-up.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and other departments.
- Follow safety guidelines and adhere to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace through adherence to housekeeping standards.
- Perform additional duties as required or assigned.
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Experience in logistics is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Good interpersonal skills for interacting with employees.
- Ability to use company-specific computer applications.
- Pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.

Expected Hours of Work
11 am to 8 pm, includes a one-hour unpaid lunch. Overtime may be required as necessary.
