CCTV System Engineer

Job Summary (CCTV System Engineer) Serve as a CCTV System Advisor for a Transit Enterprise CCTV Program (primarily remote, periodic on-site in Bay Area, CA) Contribute to the Platform Architecture Framework across 10 enterprise domains (VMS, cameras, storage, network, cybersecurity, etc.) Draft sections of the Program-Wide CCTV Standards Catalog Support the Greenfield Transition Plan, including legacy system decommissioning and site-readiness categorization Inventory and assess current ad-hoc CCTV projects for alignment with enterprise objectives Provide subject matter expertise for engineering mobilization readiness (e.g., survey methodology, interface protocols) Integrate and ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NDAA 889, NIST 800-53, CJIS, FRA) Requires 8+ years of experience in enterprise CCTV/surveillance systems Experience developing architecture frameworks or technical standards Working knowledge of Video Management System (VMS) platforms such as Genetec, Milestone, and Avigilon Strong technical writing skills essential Transit or public-sector experience is preferred
