About the role

Assess, support, monitor, and treat critically ill or injured patients during inter-facility transport, providing both basic and advanced care within the RN scope. Utilize critical thinking to manage adult and pediatric patients, supporting physicians’ orders and ensuring safety. Act as team leader, maintaining a safe environment, equipment checks, and proper stock levels. Collaborate professionally with healthcare and safety personnel, and maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and current RN license
• Minimum 2 years ICU RN or 5 years ED/CCT/Trauma RN experience
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS-C credentials; PHTLS and NRP certifications (must obtain within 6 months)
• Knowledge of ICS courses, critical care inter-facility transfer experience, and relevant certifications such as CCRN, TNCC, or ENC preferred
