About the role
The CCS-C Technical Advisor/CTF Lead position at Kratos is responsible for managing personnel, supporting operations, and overseeing IT systems. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in personnel management, operations support, and IT systems, with a strong background in the Command and Control - Consolidated (CCS-C) system and associated satellite programs.
Responsibilities
- Guiding a diverse group of engineers across multiple disciplines
- Performing leadership duties including personnel assessments, mentoring, planning, and milestone assessments
- Supporting ground system readiness activities, including customer/user interactions and on-call support
- Hosting and/or supporting meetings with military/government stakeholders
- Communicating technical concepts both orally and in writing to government and military customers and users
- Traveling for up to two weeks per year (less than 5% of the time)
- Being physically present at Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB) five days a week
- Occasionally being on-call to support the 24/7 operational environment
Requirements
- Active Security+ Certificate with CEA minimum SECRET clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
- At least five years of experience in space operations or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant space-related field
- Experience guiding a diverse group of engineers across multiple disciplines
- Self-motivation and leadership capabilities
Qualifications
- Experience with CCS-C and associated satellite systems
- A strong background in maintaining and sustaining IT systems
- Familiarity with system administration, troubleshooting, and deployment processes
- Experience with technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, Java/C++, Networking/Cisco, Linux, Windows, Active Directory, Docker/Kubernetes, NAS/SAN, VMware, and Ansible
Skills
- Effective communication of technical concepts both orally and in writing
- Ability to travel for up to two weeks per year (less than 5% of the time)
- Physical presence at Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB) five days a week
- Occasional on-call support for the 24/7 operational environment
