CCI xG Testbed Research Intern Pool
About the role
The Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI), located in Arlington – Ballston (Northern Virginia), is seeking highly-motivated and focused R&D students to contribute to the CCI xG Testbed Vision on advanced wireless communication network and autonomous systems.
Responsibilities
- Support the proof-of-concept development
- Administer laboratory inventory on a daily basis
- Configure and deploy software and hardware
- Maintain and develop new functionalities on the CCI xG Testbed webpage
Requirements
- Experience with computer networking and wireless communication
- Experience with software development (C, C++, Java, Python, MatLab, etc.)
- Currently an undergraduate student majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with signal propagation
- Experience with 5G technologies (network virtualization, mobile edge computing, cloud computing)
- Experience with Internet of Things
- Experience with radio communication
- Experience with machine learning
- Understanding of computer network

Qualifications
Required qualifications include experience with computer networking and wireless communication, experience with software development, and being a currently an undergraduate student majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Preferred qualifications include experience with signal propagation, 5G technologies, Internet of Things, radio communication, machine learning, and understanding of computer network.
