CCI xG Testbed Research Intern Pool

About the role

The Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI) seeks to recruit highly-motivated and focused R&D students to contribute to the realization of the CCI xG Testbed Vision on advanced wireless communication networks and autonomous systems. The work will be conducted in the research group Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI), known for its leadership in cybersecurity, intelligence, and autonomous systems for critical industrial applications.

Responsibilities

• Support the proof-of-concept development
• Administer laboratory inventory on a daily basis
• Configure and deploy software and hardware
• Maintain and develop new functionalities on the CCI xG Testbed webpage

Requirements

• Experience with computer networking and wireless communication
• Experience with software development (C, C++, Java, Python, MatLab, etc.)
• Currently an undergraduate student majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with signal propagation, 5G technologies, IoT, radio communication, machine learning, and computer network

Skills

Hands-on experience, proficiency in computer networking and wireless communication, and software development skills are essential.

$45,000 - $50,000 per year (Pay Band 4)
