POSITION SUMMARY: Assist coach in secondary school athletic program

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Must meet guidelines of Kentucky High School Athletic Association
• Must meet the requirements for a criminal record check as specified by Kentucky state law
• Must meet health requirements as specified in district personnel policy
• Demonstrated knowledge of the sport

State Law Requirements

• A national and state criminal history background check is required
• A letter from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services must be provided stating the employee is clear to hire based on no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect found through a background check of child abuse and neglect records maintained by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services as a condition of employment.
