CCHD Intern

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting the St. Louis CCHD diocesan director in educating members of the community regarding poverty and Catholic Social Teaching (CST)
• Organizing and helping to staff events for youth and young adults
• Promoting the CCHD grant program and the annual collection that supports it
• Maintaining social media
• Discovering new potential organizations to fund
• Promoting social justice and anti-poverty work
• Aiding in the evaluation of potential grantees

Qualifications

• Commitment to social justice and Catholic Social Teaching
• Interest in the eradication of poverty
• Energetic and motivated personality
• Catholic background
