About the role

This role combines precision lens and optics repair with hands-on support in sales order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will bring a steady hand for delicate optical work and the focus to accurately fulfill customer orders to exact specifications. You’ll work closely with the Division Manager, Sales, and Operations teams to maintain exceptional quality and turnaround times for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, clean, and repair a variety of optical components used in endoscopic imaging systems.
  • Replace or realign lenses, glass rods, and other optical assemblies with precision tools.
  • Assess damage or degradation in lenses and determine appropriate repair or replacement.
  • Collaborate with CCD Technicians and Engineering to ensure proper integration of optics with other components.
  • Maintain cleanliness and calibration of optical repair stations.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and ship parts and components according to customer specifications and sales orders.
  • Verify part numbers, models, and quantities for each order.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all shipped items meet ENDOCORP’s standards.
  • Coordinate with Inventory and Logistics to maintain up-to-date stock records.
  • Communicate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or fulfill urgent customer requests.
  • Maintain service records and logs for all optical repairs.
  • Update part tracking systems and fulfillment software as required.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and internal quality protocols.
  • Support ongoing efforts to streamline optics workflows and order fulfillment procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss quality improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas across both repair and fulfillment zones.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or technical training in optics, electronics, or biomedical engineering preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in optics, lens repair, or micro-assembly preferred.
  • Experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or logistics support role is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with medical device components or precision assembly is beneficial.
  • Skilled in handling delicate optical components, lenses, and tools.
  • Ability to identify defects, scratches, or alignment issues in optical systems.
  • Proficient with inventory/order management systems and basic shipping software.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, tweezers, and microscopes.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Organized and reliable in tracking inventory and orders.
  • Effective communicator across departments.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Able to balance repair and fulfillment responsibilities effectively.
