CC Environmental Advisor

Job Summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation seeks an Environmental Advisor to oversee several air compliance programs under NSPS Part 60 and NESHAP Part 63, prepare compliance reports, and support refinery and contract personnel with air compliance matters.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Environmental or related technical field plus 5 Years of relevant experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Refinery/chemical plant experience

Job Duties

• Manage and gather required data for preparing periodic compliance reports, including Plant Manager certification (review/signing) and submittal to regulatory agency.
• Manage and gather required data for preparing and submitting reportable quantity (RQ) incident notifications for air emissions and spills during On-Call Duty.
• Support corporate requests for monthly emissions (Env Index), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), annual initiatives and third-party audits.
• Utilize industry compliance tools to improve data gathering and compliance reporting and minimize manual data entry.
• Maintain and improve compliance program processes, guidance documents, and procedures.
• Periodically train refinery personnel.
• Ensure Turnaround Environmental Plans are updated with current compliance/regulatory requirements.
• Maintain regulatory knowledge of current areas of responsibilities.
• Provide support to refinery personnel and assist with MOCs, RCAs, field audits, and regulatory compliance audits.
