Responsibilities
- Direct Level I work center personnel to accomplish specific maintenance actions as required.
- Occasionally lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.
- Utilize excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet daily flight schedule.
- Provide technical support to electronic project engineers.
- Exercise appropriate level of responsibility in the F18 Avionics area.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to lower-level technicians.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years US Navy/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience.
- Minimum five years Organizational Level Avionics/Electrical experience on F18 aircraft (24 of the 36 months within last 3 years preferred).
- Knowledgeable in automatic flight control, stabilization systems, weapons integration systems and fuel quantity systems.
- May be required to become Plane Captain certified in accordance with approved certification process for each T/M/S applicable to their background.
- Experience as T/M/S CDI, CDQAR, Work Center Supervisor is required.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Specialized training courses are desirable.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain or maintain a secret security clearance.
- Available to work any shift.
- Must have been released from military service with an Honorable Discharge.
