Cattle Buyer Field Marketing Representative
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the cattle and feedlot industry required
- Valid driver’s license required due to travel both air and surface
- Comparable experience or Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing or other related field
- Stable and progressive work history
- Experience with basic computer word processing & spreadsheet programs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and negotiation skills both in person and on the phone
- Ability to gain knowledge of the products and customers within the industries we serve

About the Role
The Cattle Buyer Field Marketing Representative's primary objective will be to identify large commercial feeder cattle buyers within the feedlot sector. The position requires building relationships and educating these buyers on their ability to procure feeder cattle through products like LivestockMarket.com and market finished cattle. Responsibilities include handling in-person meetings, customer calls, and email communications. Additionally, the representative is responsible for selling opportunities for feedlots to market cattle on LivestockMarket.com and AuctionTime.com.
The position involves extensive travel across North America to feedlots to educate customers in person. Travel expenses are covered according to Sandhills Global travel policy. The role is based out of Lincoln, NE and reports to the office when not in the field. The representative is also responsible for gathering information on industry shows and meetings, researching the livestock industry, and providing feedback to ensure the success of the websites and publications. Other duties may be assigned.
