About the role
Lifesteps is a non-profit, human services organization serving Western Pennsylvania. We provide programs and services to help individuals and families with life's changing needs.
Responsibilities
- Researches and meets with vendors to stay current on advertising knowledge for products and pricing.
- Acquires quotes for marketing/advertising purchases.
- Places fully-approved marketing purchases.
- Aids in data entry for advertising placement tracking reports.
- Develops a detailed annual Advertising Budget in collaboration with Program and other designated Departments.
- Builds solid vendor partnerships for advertising and placement.
- Organizes and facilitates meetings with program staff and other Organizational staff to access enrollment and program/service goals to assist in the creation and deployment of Marketing Strategies.
- Analyzes marketing strategies through regular reports and recommends future strategies based on results.
- Serves as a backup for the Promotional and Multi Media Representatives.
- Facilitates regular meetings with program staff to determine content for social media campaigns.
- Aids the Multi Media Representative with Blog Creation, Video ideas/content and Social Media posts.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience utilizing social networking tools for marketing such as Facebook, LinkedIn, X(Twitter) and YouTube.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Valid driver’s license/auto insurance.
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances.
Qualifications
- Experience and/or education in Video Production, Graphic Design, Web Administration and Social Media.
- Experience utilizing WordPress, Google /Analytics, Dreamweaver, Adobe Suite, HTML language and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
