Catholic Nursery/PK2 Assistant

About the role

At Regina Caeli Academy, we are seeking a part-time Catholic assistant for our Nursery and PK2 rooms. This position runs from the 2026-27 academic year and involves up to 15 hours per week. No teaching certification or formal experience is required; we will train you.

Responsibilities

- Teach in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. - Provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. - Prepare for classes at home and come to class prepared to teach in a highly structured environment. - Attend a mandatory training session on August 7, 8, or 11, 2026 (TBD).

Requirements

- Sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. - Have a deep love for the Catholic faith. - Be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to your state in life. - Complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills. - Good organization. - Timeliness. - A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.

Pay

- Hourly pay rate is provided.

Schedule

- Monday and Thursday, 8:15 am - 3:30 pm.
