Catholic Mass Musician

Location: Eglin Air Force Base – Eglin AFB Chaplain Corps Employment Type: Contract / Part-Time – Sunday services, weekly rehearsals, and special Catholic services Key Tasks / Responsibilities: Perform piano and/or organ accompaniment for the 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM Sunday Catholic MassesAttend and support weekly rehearsals and coordinate music with the Catholic Priest and Choir DirectorPerform for Holy Days, special Masses, liturgies, and other scheduled Catholic servicesSet up, secure, and properly store instruments, microphones, music stands, and related equipmentMaintain punctuality, professionalism, and coordinate an approved qualified substitute when necessary Minimum Qualifications: Practical experience and proficiency in playing piano and/or organWorking knowledge of Catholic worship music and ability to learn new hymns and songsAbility to work cooperatively with chaplains, choir directors, musicians, volunteers, and other faith groupsMust be in good standing with a Catholic parish and obtain a Letter of SustainabilityMust successfully complete the required DoD background check Powered by JazzHR BuoLiA3Cpi
