About the role

The Cardiovascular Technologist - Cath Lab (ARRT-R) position at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center is a full-time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The hiring rate is dependent on various factors including education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. Hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be available.

  • Work across interventional cardiology, structural heart, neurovascular, vascular trauma, interventional radiology, and cardiac device procedures

Requirements

  • Previous hospital experience required
  • Minimum two years of Cardiac Cath Lab (or equivalent experience) required
  • Two or more years of Cath Lab experience with exposure to: Cardiac procedures, Vascular interventions, Interventional Radiology procedures preferred
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist License required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 6 months

Qualifications

Must be able to perform precise procedures requiring fine motor skills, communicate effectively, and maintain normal vision and hearing (with corrective devices if needed).

Schedule & Call

  • Four 10-hour day shifts per week
  • Rotating weekday off
  • Every fifth weekend creates a four-day weekend
  • One weekday call shift per week, plus a weekend call rotation every 4th-6th weekend

Cath Lab Overview

This is a high-volume, dynamic lab performing approximately 25 to 30 procedures daily across six procedural rooms, including: 2 dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab rooms, 1 Hybrid room supporting vascular and structural heart procedures, 1 Interventional Radiology room, including neuro-interventional procedures, 2 Electrophysiology (EP) rooms
