Responsibilities
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
- Formulates an individualized plan of care, revises plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluates overall plan daily for effectiveness.
- Maintains vigilance over patient condition and communicates it to the care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriate.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient's rights.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- ARRT registration in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
