Job Summary

The CV Tech performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature and assists the physician during all procedures. The role works with patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics, trains Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab personnel, and completes established competencies within the designated introductory period. This position may qualify for a sign‑on bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Graduate of a certificate or degree‑granting program or post‑secondary educational program in health science, or equivalent.
• Minimum experience: 2 years of interventional Cath Lab or 2 years of Electrophysiology experience.
• Required certifications/licensure: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
• Preferred certifications/licensure: Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT).
• Required courses/completions: Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire; AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
