Catering Services Manager

About the role

This leadership position oversees all aspects of catering solutions and special events at the location. You will lead the Catering team to deliver events and catering requests that meet customer expectations and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers’ needs
• Build and maintain effective client and customer relationships
• Deliver consistent quality in planning and executing events
• Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and setup of events from banquet event orders
• Assist clients in planning special events and provide creative solutions
• Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed
• Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to the team and ensure all requests are met prior to the event
• Deliver food and labor targets
• Execute catering events of varied size and scope, including staffing and management
• Ensure accurate reporting of all catering-related revenue, expenses, and receivables
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members
• Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies

Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet business commitments.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience
• Prior experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
• Previous experience in events, hospitality, and catering preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Available to work event-based hours
• Excellent communication skills
• Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Pay

Salaried rate: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00.
