Catering Server | Part-Time | Louisville Bats (Louisville Slugger Field)

Responsibilities

• Read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests in suites, club spaces, and event areas throughout the ballpark.
• Set up catering stations, buffets, beverage areas, and suites according to event specifications and presentation standards.
• Aid with the breakdown of catering setups, including disposing of waste and returning equipment.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of work.
• Maintain food quality, temperature, and replenishment levels during events; restock items as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, runners, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests, anticipating and meeting all needs.
• Work closely with staff and deal often with patrons.
• Handle guest concerns or special requests courteously and escalate issues to management when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• One (1) year of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred.
• Ability to obtain food handling and alcohol safety certification.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Ability to help provide a safe and clean work environment for both the front and back of the house.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects often.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Punctual with consistent attendance.

Benefits

This position will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 and is tip eligible. Benefits for Part-Time roles include a 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.
