Catering Operations Manager

Job Summary

Plan and execute event logistics for on-site Aquarium events and off-premise events.

Oversee staffing, labor planning, and on-site staffing coordination.

Cook staff, sales, and event teams.

Manage vendors, rentals, equipment, and transportation logistics for varied event locations.

Provide visible on-site leadership during events, supporting real-time problem-solving.

Ensure compliance with safety, service, and operational standards across all event settings.

Support event timelines, floor plans, and production needs from setup through breakdown.

Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and guest experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Background in event logistics, banquet operations, or catering management.
• Experience supporting both on-site and off-premise events.
• Familiarity with labor planning, staffing coordination, and operational workflows.
• Organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple events or priorities.
• A clear communicator who collaborates effectively across departments and partners.
• A calm, confident presence during live events.
• A strong understanding of event flow, logistics, and operational execution.
