About the role
Eurest is a leading provider of business and industry dining services. The Catering Manager oversees the Catering Department, managing events, training staff, and ensuring high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all catering events
- Manage catering events operations, including logistics, quality improvement, sanitation, and facility activities
- Create menus and train catering associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service
- Track and monitor labor and food costs for each event
- Communicate with various stakeholders, including management, clients, customers, and associates
- Assist in all foodservice-related activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2 years of food service experience, including 1 year at the management level
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and related food service operations
- Catering experience is required
- Knowledge of food and catering trends, focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills
- Proficient in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
- ServSafe Certification
