Catering - Hot Prep Cook
Summary
Responsible for production of all Hot Prep food. Essential functions include slicing, chopping, portioning, and heating Hot Prep Food; executing all Delivery and Catering food needs; maintaining proper food storage, rotation, and organization; following all systems and processes for Caterer and Delivery person loadout; ensuring kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards including time and temperature tracking and cooling; adhering to recipe guidelines and specs for food consistency and quality; and ensuring Guest Satisfaction and Overall Experience.
Education and Experience
- 2+ years of Front and/or Back of the house experience in a high-volume, full-service food environment preferred but not required.
- Cannot be convicted of a felony.
- Able to multi-task and quickly think on your feet.
- Able to compute basic mathematical calculations.
- Able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Able to be self-motivated and take initiative.
- Able to enforce company’s standards, policies, and procedures.
- Able to prioritize and organize work assignments, delegate work.
- Possess good communication skills to deal with staff.
- Able to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment.
- Able to maintain a neat and clean appearance and convey self-confidence.
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand or walk constantly, 100% of shift.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, lift, push and pull materials throughout shift.
