Catering Event Supervisor

About the role

Rave! Catering is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Pack as a Catering Events Supervisor. Rave! Catering proudly employs experienced, certified chefs and catering professionals to provide the highest degree of service possible to ensure successful events. The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the prep work and setup for catering events around campus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in the absence of a catering event coordinator ensuring that events are successful.
• Professionally and successfully execute all components of the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
• Prepare silverware and napkins, and perform general stockroom duties.
• Provide food and beverage service for buffets, break services, receptions and plated meals.
• Other duties as assigned to ensure NC State Dining business needs are met. Position may be asked to assist in other locations as necessary.

• This is an hourly position, that includes a State required 32-day break at the end of 11 months.
• NC State Dining provides campus wide food services to students, staff, and faculty on the North Carolina State University Campus.
• The department employs approximately 1000 temporary and student employees and approximately 190 permanent EPS and SHRA employees.
