Catering Delivery & Event Associate

About the Role

Join our team as a Catering Associate and enjoy a fun, varied job where you interact with people in different environments. We cater events ranging from simple delivery and set-up to full-service catering for weddings or corporate events. This role offers flexible scheduling, part-time hours, and the opportunity to earn tips, boosting your earning potential.

$20-$30/hour (pay includes hourly wage + tips). Peak season runs April-December, with fewer hours January-February.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to clients and teammates.
• Demonstrate integrity and meet deadlines when unsupervised.
• Transport food and supplies for catered functions using a catering vehicle or your personal vehicle.
• Complete food drops, set-and-go lunch deliveries, full-service events, and weekend events.
• Set up tables, action stations, and decorations.
• Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests during full-service events.
• Build trust and relationships to ensure guests receive exceptional service.
• Thoroughly clean the event location after completion.
• Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Own reliable transportation for delivering catering orders.
• Pass a Motor Vehicle Background Check.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to lift catering bags or hot boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible with scheduling and available for part-time hours.
