Catering Attendant - University of Colorado

Job Summary

The Catering Attendant position at the University of Colorado involves delivering and serving food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering manager or supervisor. Key responsibilities include assembling and delivering food and supplies, setting up and serving at functions, cleaning the event area, returning leftovers and equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for suites and catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Arranges suite items and buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly cleans the location after the event is completed.
• Returns food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Stocks, cleans, and maintains catering facilities and equipment.
• Maintains friendly, courteous service to guests at all times.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
