CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)
About the Role
We are hiring immediately for full-time CATERING ATTENDANT positions at BNY, 500 Ross Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15262. Note: online applications accepted only.
Schedule
Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, with some required overtime. Further details upon interview.
Responsibilities
- Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
- Logs and maintains food temperatures.
- Arranges tables and decorations.
- Arranges buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
- Serves food and beverages to guests.
- Thoroughly cleans the location after the event is completed.
- Returns food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
- Distributes and collects customer comment cards for catered functions.
- Stocks, cleans, and maintains the catering facility and equipment.
- Ensures guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Follows safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous catering, food service, and hospitality experience required.
- Valid driver's license may be required; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where required by state law.

Pay
Fixed pay rate: $17.70 per hour.
