Catering

Part-time, events-based, hourly position within the Food & Beverage department reporting to the Catering Events Manager.

About the role

Responsibilities include assisting with set-ups, clean-ups, and general catering facilitation for the Resch Complex. You will help coordinate, set up, and implement catering events while ensuring high-quality food products are delivered and served to patrons in a professional and timely manner. Compliance with state and local health laws regarding food storage, handling, preparation, and dispensing is required. The role involves maintaining a positive image, generating rapport with patrons and staff, and processing transactions according to company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination, set-up, and implementation of catering events.
• Ensure high-quality food products are delivered and served to patrons professionally and on time.
• Follow state and local health laws for food and beverage storage, handling, preparation, and dispensing.
• Maintain a professional image and positive rapport with patrons and staff.
• Process cash and charge card transactions in accordance with company guidelines.
• Demonstrate and embody the PMI Entertainment Group culture and customer service values.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent to interact professionally with patrons and employees.
• Three to six months of previous food and beverage experience to understand food preparation, sales, and customer service.
• Analytical skills for processing cash and charge card orders.
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive customer relations and communicate effectively.
• Ability to handle patrons tactfully and discreetly while portraying a positive company image.
• Enthusiasm and responsiveness to customer needs.

Physical demands

• Prolonged standing, potentially for an entire shift.
• Normal range of hearing to communicate with patrons and employees.
• Vision correctable to 20/20 to read numbers.
• Regularly climb steps.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations when dealing with clients.
• Frequent exposure to crowds.

Schedule

• Day, evening, and weekend hours.
• Flexible schedule required.
