Key Job Responsibilities
- Assists with unit budget monitoring, management of inventory levels, and staff training
- Leads and provides exceptional customer service, answers questions, and provides information regarding food preparation, catering, and associated activities
- Selects, develops, implements and schedules logistics and menus for daily and catering operations
- Develops, implements and oversees workflow components, and assigns and coordinates the day-to-day activities of food service staff
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of food service experience in a supervisory or lead position
- Experience working in an establishment that serves alcohol
- ServSafe Certificate required or able to obtain within 6 months of hire
- City of Madison Alcohol Operator License required or able to obtain within 6 months of hire
Physical Demands
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently needed
Work Schedule and Location
100% onsite Variable schedule-including nights and weekends to support events
Compensation
The expected starting annual wage is $57,500.
