Category Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Has oversight responsibility for the National Supplier Agreement process in assigned categories.
• Manage communication and updates of agreement, price changes and general vendor announcements.
• Analyze product assortment, profitability and trends for specific product lines.
• Serve as a key partner and interface between Category Management and other functional areas for program and agreement set up including MDM & EDM.
• Analyze promotional item trends, maintain and update promotional documents with explanation of analysis.
• Aid Category Management Team with key vendor activities and functions.
• Support corporate product cutting process as assigned.
• Manage Master Vendor Document updates, and department SharePoint site.
• Create, analyze and publish commodity reports.
• Serve as a contact between corporate Category Management Team and Earned Income Team.
• Manage the Earned Income proofing, handle accounting related inquires, provide customer contract support and address any quality support issues/requests.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• A High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent with related experience.
• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail with good business acumen.
• A high degree of organization and ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Pay

$55,000 - $85,000 with bonus opportunity.
