Summary Of Key Responsibilities
- Shaping the Business Strategy: Leads key, complex sourcing initiatives requiring broad sourcing expertise.
- Drive Value: Breaks down complex problems, identifies solutions, and reimagines business thinking.
- Risk Management: Identifies, assesses, and mitigates supplier and supply chain risks.
Education (minimum education level, degree or certification necessary)
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or other related fields preferred.
Years of experience in specific field or utilizing designated skills (minimum needed to be qualified)
- 10+ years sourcing experience preferred.
Skills (minimum Skills Required)
- Sourcing Foundations: Expert knowledge of procurement processes such as category sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, risk management, and key legal terms.
- Problem Solving & Business Acumen: Proactively identifies and addresses problems constructively.
- Teamwork: Influences across peer groups and all management levels.
- Project Management: Strong acumen for coping with different business situations.
- Emotional Intelligence & Influence: Anticipates others' perspectives based on role, level, and body language.
- Communications: Prepares clear and concise verbal, written, and visual presentations.
- Intellectual Curiosity: Expands knowledge via external benchmarking and further education.
Qualifications
- Intermediate to Master in MS Office Suite, including Excel pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Knowledgeable in BI Apps, Oracle ERS, SAP Ariba, Power BI, Tableau, or similar systems.
- Preferred: Anticipates others' perspectives based on role, level, and body language.
- Preferred: Skilled storyteller in answer-first style.

- The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.

- Based in Nashville, Tennessee, with plans to expand with the opening of a new Starbucks office later this year.
